Edicts, inscriptions and linguistic study of Odisha are a vast segment of culture. It has composed of many creative endeavors and disciplines. Philosophy of art, the study of linguistic and the nature of edicts and inscriptions, etc. have been included in each chapter and the concepts such as interpretation, representation, expression, form, etc. have been closely marked with the comparative method. By examining and writing about separate parts of the each topic and object, that one will come to a better understanding of the cultural entity as a whole through this book.
