Abdul Adil Paray is from village Hardu-Handew in District Shopian, Kashmir, born and brought up in a rural and agricultural family. A student of History and Archaeology and interested in Heritage, Culture, Archaeology and Ancient History of Kashmir. Post Graduated from Department of History, University of Kashmir, Srinagar and pursued M. Phil. from University of Hyderabad, Telangana and PG in Archaeology from CCAS, University of Kashmir and PG Diploma in Folklore and Culture Studies from IGNOU. Qualified UGC NET in History and qualified various online courses. Participated and presented research articles in two dozen international and national conferences, seminars, workshops and published research articles and contributed chapters in various books. Writing articles on heritage, history and archaeology for daily newspapers. Have experience of teaching higher-secondary, college and post graduate students.
