Meera Aggarwal

Meera Aggarwal is an Educational Consultant and Author, with over three decades of experience in academics, education policy, management and administration. A woman of many dimensions, Meera has designed, developed and supported systems for a satisfied lucrative clientele – from setting up schools to running them, advising and implementing best practices, strategy for marketing and image building training, curriculum design and its transaction, examinations and assessments, education audit and development planning for schools.

In a career span of three decades, she has worked with HCL Technologies, GTC Industries and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.

Meera has been a consultant to Bhutan Board of Examinations, Thimphu, where she was instrumental in setting up of systems, training of personnel and handholding for five years to enable the Bhutan Board to establish an independent school examinations board of their own.

Meera was senior advisor to MapMyLearning, a pioneering concept - "Testing as a means of learning" for students through high quality assessments and ability to extract fundamental knowledge levels and learning models.

One of her favourite projects has been establishment of a nursery school at village Rampur, Uttarakhand for underprivileged children with special focus on the girl child.Shecontinues to support several charities to this day.

Meera is a trained Action Learning Coach and currently championing action learning as a problem solving and capability building tool as she firmly believes that this is an idea whose time has come.

Meera has authored several series of school books for the teaching learning of ICT and Mathematics.

Meera is a soft skills and language arts expert.She works on communication and critical thinking skills, enhancing confidence in both speaking and writing by further strengthening each individual’s existing gifts. She has conducted numerous story-telling and story creation workshops for children. These workshops have culminated in participants writing stories, book reviews, articles, and blogs. Four of her students’ works are published and three other projects are in the pipe-line.

Her vision is to showcase the unique creativity of each of her students to the world and enable them to become the best and most confident versions of themselves.

In her free time Meera loves to read, cook and solve Suduko Puzzles.
