Dr. Jigar Patel is working in the field of chemistry since many years. He has completed his doctorate from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, India in 2014. He is working in SSR College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Pune University. He has expertise in Spectroscopy and Medicinal Chemistry. He has long experience of research on   the natural product Coumarin. He has published a detailed reference book in its kind, The Introduction of Coumarin: Concise Reference book, in 2018 with worldwide success. He has numbers of research publications in international journals and books.

First time, to build-up interest in fundamental chemistry among students, he has designed the series, The Chemistry Influx. This book is the first book among the series. The book introduced the fundamental concept of chemistry with compact information.
